Building progress – August 15th 2007

Sheet-rocking is almost complete in the hallway, new office, new vestry and kitchen. They are waiting on the electrician to move the breaker box in the hallway before they can finish the sheet-rocking.   The tile floor has been laid in the new bathrooms and they are adding the grout today.  Once the flooring is finished in the bathrooms, they will finish painting them and install the fixtures.  The vanities will be a beautiful granite.  There will also be changing tables for infants.  The ground is being prepared out front for the new narthex, bell tower and the front porch for the church itself.  Soon they will be putting the forms in place and pouring the concrete there.  God has been very gracious to us during this process.  Please continue to pray for our parish.

Building progress – August 8th 2007

Sheet-rocking is almost complete in the hallway, new office, new vestry and kitchen.  The ceilings in the new bathrooms are being stippled and the first coat of paint has gone on today.  The sidewalk beside the church and in the area of the old front porch have been removed.  Once painting is finished, new carpet will be installed in the hallway and office.  Soon the flooring in the new bathrooms and the kitchen will be going down and the plumbing fixtures for the new bathrooms will be set in place.  They will also begin the groundwork for the circular cobblestone patio that will go in front of the fellowship hall.  God has been very gracious to us during this process.  Please continue to pray for our parish.
